His work has included serving meals, washing dishes, coordinating volunteers, and spending holidays in soup kitchens alongside those being served. For him, service is not symbolic. It is participatory.
A lifelong advocate for animal welfare, he has provided direct support to local shelters, including ensuring holiday gifts for every animal in care.
He has also structured donor-matching initiatives to increase funding for animal welfare organisations and leveraged his hospitality properties to support adoption-focused campaigns that help dogs find permanent homes.
As a devout Sikh, he contributes to Sikh causes and temples both locally and in Fiji, where his parents immigrated from. His giving reflects a commitment to heritage, faith, and intergenerational responsibility.
